Oh, my goodness! I LOVE all these wonderful comments. Caryn, you have the best readers!

Kath, Katie, Angela and Mari: I'm so pleased you like the sound of the book. We do have to hope that we get some of those curl-up, rainy/snowy, can't-do-anything-else-but-read kind of days, and plenty of holiday money to spend on books so we can truly enjoy them! Thanks so much for writing.

Marilyn, so nice to meet you again over here at Caryn's place! And thank you for coming to my blog. I love yours as well.

Robin, thank you for your kind words. I'm blushing!

Virginia, congrats on getting the feedburner working. My hat is off to anyone who can make technology behave itself. And this is a beautiful new design, isn't it?

Lainey, LOL! I think it's good to break in a shiny new blog with some REAL words, don't you?

Marcia, I'm glad to hear I'M not the only one being harassed by characters and frog-marched into write their chapters for them. I love Anne Lamott's line about that, which I am paraphrasing here because I am too lazy to get up and look it up...how she has to write her books because her characters can't do their own typing, or something like that. They do force us into all kinds of things. I hope your character ended up giving you a great book, though. (Sometimes when they really, really want to be in a book, they actually come up with a good story!)

Anyway, thank all of you for leaving comments...and thank YOU, Caryn, for letting me come over to your blog. I've enjoyed reading you for so long and it's just a pleasure to be here!

I"m glad I'm not the only one who gets harrassed by their characters. One of them harassed me to the point that she even invaded my day job, begging for one simple chapter about her. Little did I know it would turn into a whole book. The heifer.

Great stuff, Caryn! Thanks for sharing. Sandi, your 'process' sounds so familiar it scares me. And your titles and blurbs totally kick ass! (um, sorry Caryn. Can I say the ass word on your shiny new blog?)

I'm definitely adding this book to my list! And this was one of the best posts by an author I've read! Thanks Sandi! It was delightful reading what happened to you when writing this book. Thanks, Caryn, for the further introduction to Sandi!
