Marcia, I’m glad to hear I’M not the only one being harassed by characters and frog-marched into write their chapters for them. I love Anne Lamott’s line about that, which I am paraphrasing here because I am too lazy to get up and look it up…how she has to write her books because her characters can’t do their own typing, or something like that. They do force us into all kinds of things. I hope your character ended up giving you a great book, though. (Sometimes when they really, really want to be in a book, they actually come up with a good story!)
